Welcome to Aina!

Aina is an online community for people that want to have an impact;­ those of us that want to leave the world a better place. Aina is the place for people that see the pain and hurt in the world and feel that a solution is possible; that through personal connections with those in need, we can each DO something to make effective solutions a reality. Through crowdsourcing and training of community members, Aina is the place where any person, anywhere, can be a part of that solution.

So how, exactly, do you Aina? There are 6 simple steps:

1. Get passionate. Check out all of our causes and find one that sings to your soul. From animals to cancer to the environment, we’ve got you covered.

2. Get Crafty. Choose one of the crafts that helps your passion. Got kiddos? Choose one of our kid­friendly crafts, like making a pencil case for school kids in Kenya. Rest assured ­ all of our projects are heavily vetted, and only the very best of the best organizations are represented.

3. Get Busy. From supply lists to tutorials, follow our step­by­step instructions on how to put together the perfect craft for those in need. Are you an educator? Get access to teacher­certified lesson plans that meet national standards for each age group.

4. Get Global. Send those projects to the groups that need it the most. Read up about the issue, learn more about the organization helping out, and access the mailing address ­ all in one spot.

5. Get Connected. Through our unique process, you can actually connect ­ through video, pictures, and translated text ­ with people all over the nation and world that you’ve impacted. Build Relationships. Build Trust. Change the World.
